Según los datos que proporciona el INTA (Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial) de España, la Tierra tiene 12.742 Km de diámetro y la Luna unos 3.474 Km.
Por tanto, el diámetro de la Tierra es unas cuatro veces el de la Luna, y por buscar un ejemplo visual comparativo podría ser comparar una pelota de ping-pong y un garbanzo, o una pelota de tenis y una canica.

The question of how many moons can fit inside the Earth is an interesting one.
The diameter of the Earth is approximately 12.742 kilometers, while the diameter of the Moon is approximately 3.474 kilometers.
To calculate the volume we will use the formula: V= 4/3πr3, where “r” is the radius (diameter/2).
Using these measurements, we can calculate that the volume of the Earth (VE) is:
VE = 4/3 x 3,1416 x (12.742/2)^3 = 1.000.000.000 cubic kilometers approximately,
while the volume of the Moon (VM) is :
VM = 4/3 x 3,1416 x (3.474/2)^3 = 21.900.000.000 cubic kilometers approximately.
Dividing the volume of the Earth by the volume of the Moon VE/VM gives us a rough estimate of the number of moons that could fit inside the Earth, which is approximately 45.
